Hello 4D1, I have recently setup a dedicated server on a vps for mw2 and i set the maxplayers to 12 but the server only allows 5 people in at once, any simple solutions to this?

Probably something in your server.cfg/mod that overwrites the maxclients you've set.

i dont understand what you mean, every config file i got is set to maxclients of 12 :S

Whats your shortcut line looks like and your server.cfg (without the rcon password)
