Hey guys, I was thinking last night, It would be cool to stuff around with the kill feed, but after about 20 minutes search the net and half and hour searching files, I couldn't find it, then I thought it must be hard-coded in, but I realized that the death text was different, and that the death symbol used to be an AK-74 (I think), could somebody help me out? :3 <3

The function is CG_Obituary, and yes, it's hard-coded into the game. It's possible to hook it, but that's mostly done by those "BOOM! HEADSHOT ON PLAYER X!" hacks, and is therefore probably detected by aCI2. It would only show on your machine anyway. You can PM me if there's anything else you want to know.

Edit: Well isn't it technically 'iPrintLn()'? Is there a way to add the gun images into that at least? Because I was thinking of getting a double colat? make it show up with 2 headshots and the [Player 1 + Player 2]? Impossible? Orrrr?

Impossible: No. It does require good reverse engineering skills though. Have you ever done reversing and/or hooking before? Looking at the IW4M source is a good place to start, specifically the Suicide Messages part.

LOL! Reverse engineering?! I never tried, I don't think I'd be able to get my head around it... I think I'll stick to my TSD, and all It's if-statements. :3 That's for the help, and the fast replies though. :P Muchly appreciated. <3 (:

NTA didn't do it purposely, something went wrong with the weapon files and it made suicides undefined so it printed the default weapon icon (messed up ak47). You can change the killfeed shaders, I've seen adr3nalin do it (he changed the deagle shader to the cod4 one) looked ugly though. Other than that, you can only do it with memory hooks >.
