i download this file and it opens as winrar and includes within it folder named Sound and images..

i need to launch the game with the IWD file.. how to fix this error?

You don't open iw_23, you just paste it on "main" folder and then launch the game normally.

If you're trying to fix the missing images error on startup, you'll also need to download iw_22

dude ive downloaded these filed 22 and 23 and they're opening as WINRAR not as some IWD FILE so i cant just put them into the main folder... it wont work - they're winar files not iwd...

if someone would be nice and upload the file and not the winrar archive would be great

Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude, IWDs are archives that open with winrar...

What's the extension of the file? isn't it .iwd ?

It is .iwd, but it seems he just opens them, instead of MOVING THEM TO THE DAMN \MAIN\ FOLDER

(Maybe caps will help you understand)

Unless they are in .rar , which means you should just extract them to \main\ folder.

try to rename from .zip to .iwd

 

check if works,also why you no use the IWD repo???? (which HAS the .iwd and NOT .zip)

i downloaded from repo man.. mediafire link 126 mb something.. give WINRAR.. and i tried to rename to .idw doesnt work

also you must copy them to MW2 game folder/main for they to work.Also the extension CAN'T be .zip if they are .iwd on Mediafire

it sort of auto-fix the extension, not sure why. but how difficult is it to just rename it back to .iwd? really.
