Texture can be set on Extra, but specular and normal are 'locked' on high.

I've got the latest Nvidia Drivers, tried forcing it through the cfg too.

Any bypass? I want to play this game looking its best.

Your GPU is to weak to run normal maps and specular on extra according to IW5.

 

There is no bypass, but normal map and specular quality doesn't really matter that much

Really? on Vista 64bit everything was on extra, no problems.

Well, for some people running in compatibility mode with win XP helps

its gonna be great if we can set textures how we like but actvision just do it becouse they wont to troll some pc users (nvidia users first of all)) .do this devs it's so sad that some of us couldn't set extra..-it's works fine!-no lags!! before they patch it(in version 1.4382) !!!unblock this feature devs-its gonna be great!!!

How do you run it on compatbility mode on XP?

I mean, whenever I do, like setting the options onto Windows 98 etc, the login doesn't start up or I just get an error?

If the login thing doesnt show up, create a iw5m.ini file with credentials like this:

NTAuthority
Jerbubbbbbbles92

Where NTAuthority is your login, and Jerbubbbbbbles92 your password ;3
