Bipod is something like a stand for a weapon so you can put it on the ground/railing/whatever to have reduced recoil.

i think you can remove it but its part animation for the aug, but it could be a tag

possible bipod tags:

bi_base, bi_center, bi_l, bi_r, j_le_bipod, j_re_bipod, j_bipod_le, j_bipod_re, j_bipods, j_bipods, j_bidpods, j_bipod_base, & tag_bipod

Edit: nvm... those tags don't work.
