Hi,

 

i'm having a weird problem on IW5M, that i also have on the legit game, and i still didn't find a fix for it.

 

Basically: I tried going into a private match, and constantly moving my mouse right to left to make a 90 degrees angle, and every 10-15 seconds or so, my sensivity jumps REALLY HIGH, and it makes me to 360 turns when i move the same angle. This is the only game where i get this glitch, everything's running fine on BF3 and SC2 for example.

 

I tried:

 

-Deactivating Windows Aero when i launch the game

-Setting the process priority to NORMAL, while it's on High by default in the task manager

-Shutting down all background programs as well as Mumble, Teamspeak, Skype, Origin, etc...

-Switching mouse

-Unplugging some USB peripherals that may provoke this

 

My stuff:

 

Mouse: Cyborg R.A.T. 5 @1000Hz, 4000dpi

Keyboard: Microsoft Wired Keyboard (12 years old keyboard, still working.)

Headset: Plantronics Gamecom 777 5.1 Dolby Stereo via USB

 

The computer:

 

Motherboard: ASUS M588A-M

CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 960T @ 3,00GHz

Memory: Corsair XMS3 2x4Gb PC12800(1600MHz) @ 9-9-24 timings (Stock)

GPU: ATI Radeon HD5850 1Gb GDDR5 @ 725/1000MHz (Stock)

 

I wish someone has a fix for this, if not, looks like it is over for me.

go to regisry key hkcu/control panel mouse

 

change MouseThreshold1 and MouseThreshold2 to 0 and mousespeed to 1

 

also you can add custom mouse accel graph by editing smoothmousexcurve smoothmouseycurve

 

iam using renamed this so no graph or defaults loaded... (not much difference)

And turn off fraps (if you have it)

a) to high USB polling rate

I had 1000 and lowering it to 250 actually helped a bit.

 

a process in the background has a "high" or "higher than normal" priority

Fraps sets its own priority to high as an example.

 

c) to low fps

the fps is locked to 90, but you can unlock it with com_maxfps 0 in IW5M.

I had( actually still have ) SAME problem, it doesn't matter what mouse I plug in, Only solution I found is to restart my PC, usually that bug or whatever occurs when I call specific person on Skype (!?!?)*, Sometimes for no reason...

For me, same happens to IW5 from Steam.

 

*I don't think that it has something to do with skype but it happened too many times when I was calling same person
