I want to change the language of the game to english.

Where can i download the language files and what do i have to do besides switching them out and rename zone/german to zone/english?

Ask google...

german folder renamed to english, localized_english_iw_0x.iwd (all of them) and english version localization.txt

aka better reinstall the game in english and copy iw_22, iw_23 and dlc folder to the new installation
