Hi,

I'm a movie maker, so demo recording is one of my favorite features of 4D1.

Everything worked fine, I wrote a movie.cfg, recorded some demos and recorded yesterday my first clip with my movie config. I like it, when there's not much on the screen, so I turned on hardcore HUD with the command "g_hardcore", worked fine as well.

Then, yesterday evening, I couldn't join any server anymore after my game crashed and I downloaded the newest Revision to fix the problem. The problem was fixed, but since yesterday evening the command "g_hardcore" isn't working anymore. Even if I type the command manually in the console, it won't change the value from 0 to 1.

Any way to get that command working again?

Ehm, and why I can't turn on the hardcore HUD anymore?!

I mean, is there any reason for disabling it? Movies and edits do look 100 times better w/o all the stuff on the screen.

Or you tell me how I can get rid of the map, the round score in the lower left corner, the compass and ammunition in the lower right corner?

In my edits I just want to have the feed and the score.

I mean the score you get from the kills.

I don't think you can turn it on or off, do you?

But like I said, I just want to disable everything but the score appearing when you get kills, the hitmarker and the killfeed.

Ehm, that is the exact problem. The g_hardcore dvar isn't working.

It removes everything I want to have disabled, it's perfect, but since I'm using the newest Revision I'm not able to enable the HC HUD.

There was no revision released yesterday r61.. which fixed the g_hardcore issue, so go download that,that's what he's trying to say

The only problem with g_hardcore 1 and hud_enable 0 is that the radar still shows if a uav is on in the demo.. Can probably be fixed though. (The weird blue outline)

Just use scr_gameended 1
