Does anyone know how to launch mods in private match? Whenever I try to load the RSE bots mod, it restarts the map successfully but the mod doesn't load

 

Here's the command I enter into the console (but w/o the quote marks):

 

"fs_game mods/RSE;map_restart"

 

Please help

What I usually do to run a mod(especially RSE) is get in a private match lobby and type this code in:

fs_game mods/rsespecialistv3; vid_restart

 

Your folder may not be called "rsespecialistv3" so replace that with your folder name. After I hit enter, I simply set the game settings and start the game. Voila! The mod's running. This may not work but it's well worth a try.

Put the iwd in main as a z_ file eg main/z_bots.iwd then you won't even need to use fs_game.

Except then you can't enable or disable it.

Put it in the %localappdata%/IW4M/m2demo folder.
