What I usually do to run a mod(especially RSE) is get in a private match lobby and type this code in: fs_game mods/rsespecialistv3; vid_restart Your folder may not be called "rsespecialistv3" so replace that with your folder name. After I hit enter, I simply set the game settings and start the game. Voila! The mod's running. This may not work but it's well worth a try.

Are there any DLC maps in the map rotation? If so, they might not have those maps and will disconnect. Otherwise, I'm not sure.

This is the most common issue in the Steam version of MW2. Since NTA can't emulate IWNet, it will remain as the Steam server and stick with the Strict NAT. Don't worry. This is merely a bug and will not affect your performance online.

As far as I know, IW4M will be checking to see if you actually BOUGHT Modern Warfare 2. I wouldn't worry about a VAC ban, even if IW4M offers free DLC. I highly doubt it will to avoid any legal issues like NTA had before. If you're worried about Steam banning your account for using IW4M, don't worry. I used AlterIW for my Steam MW2 without any issues. Besides, all it does is check for your MW2(Steam) files. It wouldn't actually change the game entirely. For now, just relax. I'm pretty sure we'll be receiving news, details, and things we should avoid concerning IW4M in the near future.

Oh I could make 1000 accounts just so I can stay with all of this. Glad to see a new official site Don't get me wrong, I liked the other as well. But I'd rather stick with this Hope others feel the same!(Pretty sure others do )
