I had mw3 on my friends steam account so I got the packages from there. I did like in video, took it out and put the stalone thingy there, it uptated everything. Now I get this error : error during steam verification... if this continues get help from fourdeltaone.net... Ideas? It also told me to either buy a game or .. I did but still nothing.

Weird error message... maybe only NTAuthority knows what triggers that specific error message.

Anyway, delete caches.xml and start LaunchIW5M.exe again, just in case.

I think I need to port forward 3074.. cause I now have skidrow version and did everything right the dw folder and all still server connection timed out.

Just disable the router's firewall.

I did that still, 1 min of gameplay and then some serious lagg kicks in. And after that it dc's again. Sometimes it dosent dc but mostly it does like 2/10 servers it dosent kick.

Then maybe some firewall is blocking your traffic.

Find what might be causing you that connection issue (disabling the firewalls for a match would be a good try)
