Ugh, well... I've recently set up a Search and Destroy server. It lags for a couple of seconds every minute or two. Thus' making it kind of, well... Shitty. Anyone know a fix?

 

Server Specs:

 

-AMD X2 Processor 2.31GHz

-1GB of DDR2 800MHz RAM

-Unknown Motherboard

-NVIDIA Geforce 8600GT GPU Card

-3TB of total space (2x1TB, 2x500GB, all 7200RPM, SATA II)

-600W PSU

 

Internet speed: 100MB/s (Limited to 10MB/s for IW4M)

 

So it can't be my internet connection. Could be the hardware, but it should be able to run a 12 player SnD match. (I was alone on the server, and it still lagged.)

 

I'm also running on a suburban internet connection, not some fancy ass business one or something like that. Still, 10MB/s should be enough.

18 man servers take up ~300MB.

Sorry for the late response. So, nobody know's what's the problem? ._.

 

I was headfucking myself all week, to get the port's open, get my LAN working, and now this? Sigh*

 

*Edit*: It's seems that it's working perfectly ATM.
