I installed iw5m today and i noticed the looked pretty crappy so i tried to set the textures to extra but it didn't save, I've also even tried to change it in the config file and change it to read only and it set it back to normal. If anyone knows a fix for this please share cause im tired out playing with these crappy settings :?

Well, this doesn't make much sense... what the hell is wrong with your computer, to overwrite a read-only file?

Also, changing config to read only won't do much. There are 2 things you can do:

-set image quality to native(maybe that's why it looks very crappy)

-run in XP compatibility mode, then you may be able to change the texture quality

Im on windows xp so #2 isnt a fix.... and #1 ive done tried and it looks the same... I mean the game is playable i just don't want the game to look like total crap when recording.

Well, not really. Steam has the same issue. Try googling a bit, I couldn't find a 100percent fix.

The thing is it doesn't do this on the steam version for me.... Just rather play here cause the steam dedis suck and mm always puts me in with damn euros ._.
