Hello,

I've finally setup my new server, starting to get some knowledge or how things are working here... seems pretty good so far...

 

But I've been trying to edit/modify my server, I mean change weapon for infected and so on..

But I got lost in the "INF_default.dsr" if thats the file I'm supposed to be editing

 

so, is there a way to modify my server? like what kind of weapon infected respawn with and what kind of perk a human has when he kills infected...etc

 

Any suggestions would be much appreciated...

sorry for double posting, but is there any suggestion? i'm pretty confused though

make your own dsr. go to play->private match->Mode->alternative mode and select Infected

Then go to Options -> Create a default class.

their you can make your own classes for humans, infected, and initial infected

when your done, save the recipe and put in the default.dspl

or Incase it autosaves it self where do I find it I mean which folder,

Alright I've found main/recipes if this is what you mean...

 

ummm i tried to open it, says "Custom class" and so on but then its strange

here is a copy: @ Custom Class 5 @ ustom Class 6 @ j N ” @ Custom Class 2 @ Custom Class 3 @ Custom Class 4 @ Custom Class 5 @ Custom Class 6

Is there a way to have the Survivors spawn with a different class each time? I see other Custom Class's in the .dsr if I open it in notepad. If I changed them, would that work?

Well, the survivors only spawn once, so...

What you can do is several versions of that infected dsr, giving a different setup on each of them, and then sorting those dsr files on the dspl.
