Is it possible to limit the people who answer threads in "Administration Outpost" to the author of the thread and staff? Or at least prevent people from doing this.. 5a03135c471d90a084c4f1be08007c69.png

I mean.. we aren't 9gag.. and isn't Admin Outpost meant to be so users can report stuff to staff not just people answering as if it were in the spammy section..?

But surely if it's reporting then it could also be for discussing said reports

I don't know, I just think that allowing people to discuss the issue at hand is useful as it gives input from the community as a whole

But the stupid people ruin it ._.

Which is why I said "at least prevent people from doing what I showed in the screenie, whilst you're right, people need to know and be shown that that section is meant for serious discussions.

Implying that there is any serious discussion going on in there.

Maybe make a post there and pin it how you would like people to supply topics to discuss or warn people about how they might be 'banned' or something for using the board incorrectly

(Yes, banning is too far but people care about that kind of thing so it should prevent)

tl;dr 'cause I'm an illiterate tard: make a rule and warn people for being stupid on that board

Wasn't there a time when post in that section had to be approved?

There was such a time.

Yeah, but it mostly resulted in most posts being left to oblivion. But perhaps now that TecSup (and Reg Mods?) can moderate this section, this would work. Let's see what NTA thinks

Only Tech Sup can moderate that section.

Enforce the rules. I don't think that post was on-topic.
