hello,

I've newly made a server but I don't know how to edit the class,

what's the easiest way to create a class for my infected server please

someone told me create a class ingame and then save it in default...

i did but i couldn't find the class file created anywhere in my game files...

 

So please could you tell me how to modify and edit class of player when he first join the server as human

 

and what he gonna have and what infected gonna have aswell?

What do you mean .dsr

 

if you mean players/INF_default.dsr

then this is how it looks:

gameOpt commonOption.allowCustomClasses "0" // [ 0, 1 ]

gameOpt commonOption.allowKillstreaks "1" // [ 0, 1 ]

gameOpt commonOption.allowPerks "1" // [ 0, 1 ]

 

it has thousands of functions like that...

I just don't get it am I supposed to be editing these functions?

.dsr files are complicated to edit to those who are unfamiliar with the format.

Try this program to generate a dsr for your server: viewtopic.php?f=30&t=17066

save it as a ffa dsr and then open it in notepad and replace

gameOpt gametype "dm"

with

gameOpt gametype "infect"

Allies = human, Axis = Infected

Alright I've been modifying it but nothing happens, for example infected has scar-L weapon...

I deleted all scar-L from the inf_default.dsr and even changed this :

gameOpt defaultClasses.axis.[0].class.weaponSetups.[0].weapon "none"

 

to this

gameOpt defaultClasses.axis.[0].class.weaponSetups.[0].weapon "iw5_mp5"

 

but I still get scar-L weapon as infected lol

because that's not the initial infected class you're modifying....

human = allies

infected = axis

initial infected = ?

What do you mean? You can get a MOAB as it's not restricted in the dsr settings.

Just load the dsr in game setting of Private Match and remove the weapon that's there for Axis

i really cant use game GUI and if someone can find the right command that will be gerat help

for the record , this problem is just in first round and first person who get infect then evrything is ok and new infected users have no ammo.

Guys how about simply posting contents of your infected.dsr file. That will help him and others as well.
