Hello 4D1 forum,

My mouse, a Microsoft Sidewinder X5, is lagging ingame. Like, when I move my mouse to the right, my ingame view first moves normally, then faster, then slower and so on. (Not the "Enhance movement speed" effect!) It's unlikely to be hardware-wise because I only got these lags in IW4M and IW5M, not in Call of Duty 4 or other games I play.

• Things I've already tried/are already set:
  
• Set the "Smooth mouse" setting ingame to on/off
  
• Set the "Enhance movement speed" setting in the control panel to off
  
• Set the process priority to low/high
  
• Disable VSync/Sync every frame ingame

 

EDIT: Solution found (Set texture quality to "automatic")

Shouldn't it be lower? I have to put the priority for IW5 from High to Normal to actually be able to play.

You could try /r_gpusnyc 1 or 2
