I rented a standard Warfare Server from a game hosting company, and was hoping to make it an IW5M Server. What files do i need to do this?? I mean is there files i can just dump into the regular files using an ftp program to make it run?

Follow this tutorial, you need the client(as the server is going to run of off it), and the update tool.

If you only have FTP access, then you won't be able to run dsut.exe on the server.

Create a new folder on your computer and put there dsut.exe and DBNetwork.Indigo.dll

Now run dsut.exe and choose option 2 (IW5M)

After the download is finished, upload everything to your server, using that FTP access.

You'll have to repeat that process each time a new revision is out.

I have copyied all the required files from dsut.exe and placed them into mw3 server folder on TcAdmin with filezilla. I changed the start.bat file to run iw5m_server.exe instead of iw5mp_server.exe with the set port commands etc.. I am not getting anything but bypass, it basicly goes back to iw5mp_server and runs. If i delete iw5mp_server i get no responce at all from server status tab in TcAdmin. So is it is not possible to run iw5m_server.exe on a rented server using ftp files from dsut.exe and command line start? Or is there some sort of file script preventing me to run it and make it viewable threw the server browser. The service i am renting from does not support it as they do not know how to install it.

I used TCAdmin for a couple of months. You have to create a game new game server profile to define the executable as iw5m_server.exe

Talk to your server host about it. I'm sure that he will be glad to be able to provide this service
