And can you post your parameters?

He's running the executable directly. His mistake was not creating a shortcut or batch to add the startup parameters.

Hm, ok...

But I prefer a shortcut or a batch.

Try the standart one:

+set net_queryPort 27015 +set net_port 27016 +set net_masterServerPort 27017 +set sv_config "server.cfg" +start_map_rotate

EDIT: Well you forget to add the whole parameter:

+start_map_rotate

It wont let me type the whole thing, it stops at start_

If the address is in to many subfolders and is quite long. Try just moving your server files folder to drive "C" at root location.

Do this and your shortcut parameters should accept the whole options line.

Could not load map rotation "". Shutting down

You don't have a server config file named "server.cfg" on "admin" folder.

You can get dedicated server config files templates on the dedicated server tutorial:

viewtopic.php?f=30&t=11583

Remember that you need a server config file, a playlist and atleast one recipe file.

Simple and effective

Even with it in admin still says same thing

It says

Error: Dedicated Server Config "server.cfg" could not be read

?

Are you SURE that you have "server.cfg" on "admin" folder?

It's not server.cfg.txt, it has to be server.cfg

Опубликовано:

Fixed. File was named server.cfg.cfg (hidden file extensions)

But OP has a Thomson TG series router

Funny, I managed to connect to an IW5M server running on port 80, wich seems to be the only port that router opens (no other port for query though)
