I connect to a server, ping could be 60 or something and after a minute i cant play anymore(seems like huge lag) and then disconnect from a server. Get a message that connection timed out.

Make sure the system time on your computer is synchronized with a time server - the clock on your computer and the dedicated server you're trying to connect to may not differ too much.

This fix is for "Connecting" when user is connecting to a dedicated server,other than that time sync doesnt fix anything else...

if that is not working that means that server which you are trying to connect does not has port forwarded or its not running

1- If the ports aren't forwarded on the server,how come he plays on the server for a minute?

2-The TIME SYNC fix is ONLY for users getting the "Connecting" Message when they try to connect to a Dedi,In his case he PLAYS in the server for a minute...

What's makes you think he never tried connecting to another server?

That issue is related with a firewall blocking the client connection to the game server.

Disable your router's firewall and/or your anti-virus firewall and then try again.

People with Thomson TG series routers don't seem to be able to get rid of that problem since the firewall will never get disabled on a Thomson TG series router.

My ISP also provided me a Thomson TG series router. After some months of calls, attempts from their tech support and even router replacements, (always the same model though) I just ended up buying a router myself and I never had problems again.

My router is working pretty well...... I dont want to change it only for IW5M... So there is no solution for this problem?

did you tried connecting to another servers and restarting Game/PC/Router?

I have the same problem, but I solved! Basically when you connect to a server and you'll come out "server connction timed out", after you left, reconnect and you're done! I always like that and I always play! :mrgreen:

i have tried a lots of server and that happens every time,but thilan solution is working although its annoying to connect and then wait to be disconnected and then connect again!!

Got the same problem, same router .. even tried tekno thing ... same thing ... I already forwarded ports and tried every method there is but nothing
