Program/Skin/Content Mod Rules

To correctly post a program, skin or another mod in this section, some rules must be met.

For any type of executable:

1. The program must not have any malicious code.
   
2. You must post a brief description about your script, and what it does.
   
3. You are allowed upload your own binaries in .zip form. You must include a virustotal of the same .zip. The file scanned and the file uploaded must be equal.
   
4. The program must not have an auto-updater. If you would like to update a program, write a new post in your thread, with the updated file. Your program can notify the user of an update and redirect the user to your page, though.
   
5. You must credit users if your code is not 100% your work. If you used [insert user here]'s code, list their username.
   
6. Programs of which the main feature is to launch the game aren't allowed.

For skins or mods (such as GSC mods) that add content to the game:

1. The mod must not contain any malicious code, and not contain any executable files.
   
2. You must post a brief description about your mod, and what it does, including pictures (if applicable).
   
3. The mod must not modify any existing files. If textures are to be added, they should be placed in new IWD (e.g. z_mymodname.iwd), instead of overriding existing IWDs.
   
4. If your mod contains multiple files (and not just one IWD), you must upload all the files in .zip form.
   
5. You must credit users if your code is not 100% your work. If you used [insert user here]'s code, list their username.

If these rules are not met, the post will be removed and you may be warned.
