I want to reproduce the same text fade-in effect as in the video, anyone know ?

I'm using Vegas Pro.

 

Nice rendering i should say..

Use Linear Wipe. I don't have Vegas but in After Effects, there is Linear Wipe where you can do the same thing as in the video.
