Hey everyone

 

I've just successfully run my first MW2 Server on my Debian Squeeze machine after fighting with wine etc. (Voting for a stickied "Howto setup a Server"!)

 

So as I finally joined my newly created Server, I noticed that the XP-Numbers in the middle of your screen (when you kill someone) are actually grey and there is no progress bar at the bottom, so I still keep being lvl 1.

 

Is there any config variable that I've missed? I've searched the forum (using the wrongly-linked "Search" button up there) and couldn't find any thread that is related to my problem.

Put in raw/maps/mp/gametypes/_globallogic.gsc.

Thanks a bunch, but it does not appear to make any difference. I've put the file into raw/maps/mp/gametypes/ and still no XP-Bar at the bottom. (Iam alone on the Server currently, so no chance to test if XP are given)

 

EDIT: The numbers are yellow now, but still no XP Bar.

xp-bar isn't there?

most likely that patch was never introduced

Glad there's a fix for this, I will need to update our servers with the new file
