As the title says: everytime I do some graphic change and I apply the settings I just have a black screen and the game just still in that black screen. Same if I do a vid_restart, the screen just become black and I can't do nothing.

You could change the concerning video settings directly in you config_m2.cfg.

The dvars are easy to find by using strg + F.

Yes but I don't know the dvars...I don't know which string is the one to edit the texture quality or similar. And then everytime I have to close the game and what about the vid_restart? If I do something and I need a vid_restart I can't cause it crashes...

r_noborder 1

and

vid_xpos 0

 vid_ypos 0;

Manually or in the console, depends on which works..

EVery kind of setting in enough for crash. Sync frame, resolution...everything that makes you do an Apply settings/vid_restart.

Same problem, including a problem when loading some servers causing feedbacksampler error.. tried stuff like xpos/ypos vid_restart 0, to no avail for either issue.
