Hey everyone,

 

As of today, I have Modern Warfare 3 installed on my pc (thepiratebay, so no official version).

I have copied the .iwd and .ff files into my main and zone folders and copied the client files (.dll and launch.exe) into the installation folder aswell.

Furthermore I have created an empty folder called ___nope___ in there aswell, to prevent steam from whining about purchases.

 

Whenever I launch the Launch.exe file, a login window pops-up, followed up by the splash logo from MW3.

But that is all there's to it. The game its-self does not load at all.

 

I have checked several tech. posts and read the stickies, but this problem has not been mentioned.

Therefore I was hoping you guys could point me in the right direction.

Hence my post here.

P.S. Yes I am running as administrator.

I am not sure where I got the link; I believe it was in a youtube video; but clicking the link, I was redirected to a webpage indicating that the servers where fully operative.

EDIT:

Found the link again: Nope.

 

I am one 100% sure it indicated everything was fully operative about 1-2 hours ago; weird...
