Hi, i'm new here, joined a couple of days ago when the server was down.

I installed the game and dlcs and everything and yet I still get the patch_mp.ff

error. I checked in the forum for the solution, and was supposed to delete

caches.xml. I deleted it like 20 times now and I still get this error.

(and the server is not down it shows me that there is people playing)

what am I supposed to do?

Whats your language you use in IW5M?

if its english. Go into IW5M/zone/ then delete "patch_mp.ff" then delete caches.xml and LaunchIW5M.exe, it should download patch_mp.ff

Ok then..copy your patch_mp.ff from /zone/russian/ into /zone/english

(Backup the /zone/english patch_mp.ff)

EDIT: I tried that and it didnt work (although it updated something)

after that I tried the same thing only opposite. I copied the patch_mp from

zone\english to zone\russian and it worked.

Surprise! I have encountered another problem.

I cant enter to servers with some specific maps like Dome, Village or Underpass.

It has the same problem like the previous one.. I'm starting to think my files are

not up to date... any suggestions?

No, same as in "patch_mp_dome.ff is not the same as the server's"

Backup your "IW5M/zone/russian" folder and then copy everything inside "IW5M/zone/english" into "IW5M/zone/russian" and replace everything..

I tried it, it errored the s**t out of my game... maybe I didnt do

something right, I'll try again just in case..

Its a problem because you have non-english files, i had allot of issues on my French dedicated servers
