Today when i start iw4m i had this problem during installation of updating of iw4:

That error appears when you don't have write permissions in your game folder. Go to folder properties and change it from Read Only.

You can try deleting 'caches.xml'

i think credentials aren't the problem.. as you say THilan, the problem is the downloading.. because when i run the game it start download and it say me problem at 164% of uploading.. i try to start other time but always same problem.. how can i do to solve?

i tryed to deleting file caches.xml but i have the same problem..

the download blocking at 164% when the process is "decompressing iw4m" then appear the error that i show before..

Can you please try enabling write permissions on your gamefolder ? ._.

Right click on that IW4M folder, go to Properties and now disable 'read-only' ._.

Do the same with your gamefolder, the one where you have IW4 installed. Also do you have full permissions on your C: partition ?

i can't remove "read only" at my game folder.. i change it, i apply it but when i click to property again it is "read only" as i have do nothing.. It remain read only..
