Hi. Why can't I play the game while my friend is playing next to me? Before he came, I was able to play. Is it any bug so you can't play on the same IP? Please respond quick!

I'm just new to the forum MindFreak1987. I just pressed the first 'New topic' button I saw. But when he is here, one of us can't connect to the servers. Same thing with IW5M (MW3).

Moved it to IW5M, next time also specify about which game you are talking (in your first message..)

There are no error messages. It just happens when someone else with the same IP is using iw4m / iw5m. You'll get stuck at connecting... btw.

I have another account for testing server stuff and both accounts run fine from my IP. One runs on my desktop, and another on my laptop.

Also, a group of friends sometimes gather at one of them's place to play, and they always played with no problems.

If there's a problem there, it must be with your router.
