Best thing I ever did this year was to buy the Halo 4 limited edition, which is just awesome. If you would rather buy BO2 than this, well, most likely you made a mistake.

Going to make a short review.

The campaign is awesome, but a bit difficult and annoying at some times. Still, it's a great campaign.

The Spartan Ops mode is even better, it's solo or co-op and when you die, you respawn and don't have to do everything again, as it's like Firefight, just with unlimited lives, though I miss Firefight.

And now I've finally started playing War Games, or traditional multiplayer. I like the infinity slayer and the ordinances you get 2-3 times in a single game. One thing I DON'T like, is that there are so few game modes. Hopefully that will change, but it's just too few, they could at least implement a few of the other game modes from Reach. One thing I sort of like, is that you have Specializations. You get them by getting to level 50, then choose one of them to level them up and on the 10th level (max) you get a new perk. Although, how much you have to play, I'm not sure, but it's most likely not THAT much.

If I should compare it to Halo: Reach, I would say Halo: Reach is the better multiplayer game right now, as in just gameplay, because Halo 4's multiplayer feels a bit too fast and weird. But in "addictiveness", Halo 4 is better, because you unlock something useful by playing. And you also got the Commendations, which is like the service stars in BF3, but includes also one for every enemy in the game, for getting medals, and playing specific gametypes. Getting that to 100% is probably something I will try to do.

But this is my short review of it, have ANYONE here actually bought it?

Nope don't own an Xbox and i have been pretty disappointed with Halo after anything made post Halo2.

Although iv heard and seen good things about 4 sooooo if my rich friend buys it ill give it a try.

and still >no ADS

So what? I never found no ADS a problem in CSS (My favorite FPS) nor previous Halos. As long as the sniper ADS of course.

ADS will never be implemented on every weapon in halo, ever, you will only have the zooming, or what you would call it. There's a reason why you got spray weapons, accuracy weapons and snipers. Where as the spray weapons, like the Assault Rifle, doesn't have ADS because it's not supposed to be accurate. That's the disadvantage of it, you can't use it accurate over a long distance, unlike, lets say IW5, where the MP7 is supposed to be a short range weapon, but you can use it to literally snipe people and kill them with no difficulty.

There's also the reason why you got the DMR and the Battle Rifle, that are made to be the weapon in between the assault rifle and the sniper rifle. They're more difficult to use on shorter ranges, because they're one-shot, burst-fire and the assault rifle can get in more bullets and damage than these can on close distance.

And then you got the sniper rifle, which is better the longer away the target is, compared to the other guns.

There's a reason why Halo has always been balanced. You obviously got the weapons that you can't spawn with in regular gametypes, but they're limited and are supposed to be overpowered compared to the basic weapons. But they got limited ammo and they're randomized and you're most likely to get killed first when you have one equipped. But the ordinances in the Infinity game types makes them more common, but they're still not game breakers.

But then you got the Magnum pistol, which is very powerful, but it seems like they've made it so it's not THAT easy to kill someone with only that.

If you want a great Halo game, just for the gameplay, play Halo: Reach, as it's my favourite, because Halo 4 still requires a lot of finesse. But that doesn't mean Halo 4 is a bad game.
