Hello all,

 

I have recently gained an interest in playing MW2 again after I found out about FourDeltaOne, I used to play AlterIW back in the day and wanted to play again. However, I found I kept getting an error which happens to be in the FAQ. After following the instructions I re-downloaded iw_22.iwd and iw_23.iwd (which was never there in the fresh install :? ) to see if it would get it working, but the problem persisted. So I decided to re-install MW2 and try it again, still nothing. So then what I did was re-install MW2, then paste iw_22 and iw_23 before using the installer, but again, nothing.

 

I have pasted a link to pastebin showing my console_mp text file, the problem seems to be "ERROR: image 'images/preview_mp_compact.iwi' is missing" as seen towards the bottom of console_mp, however after a quick look inside of the iw_22 file, preview_mp_compact.iwi is there (see attachment).

 

So why is it saying otherwise?

Have you downloaded the MW2 DLC's?

EDIT: I just realised I haven't actually downloaded the DLC's I am currently donwloading the "AlterIWNet - DLCs Repository" and will get back to you.

With or without DLCs installed, those errors shouldn't popup if you have the right iw_22.iwd and iw_23.iwd on "main" folder.
