Somebody else have lag compensation like me too?

And its not shity ISP or anything like that....cuz lag compensation on original game i dont have...i switch to 4d1 just to play with some of my friends who doesnt have original game but after while of playing on 4d1 i just get this lag compensation my ping is normal but when i shoot its like my ping is 800..its cuz of 4d1 or what else?I once alredy say this but need 1 more time cuz nothing didnt happend...

Should be something else, unless everyone in the server you joined are having the same problems too. Stop downloading things that arent meant for people below 18, that should fix it

depends on your definition of 'lag compensation' - g_antilag has been defaulted to 'on' since CoD2 and has been a fixed parameter since IW4; therefore, yes, everyone has it, even your Steam copy does.

Play on servers wich have a ping kicker plugin (b3)

 

On another note, pingwatch plugin can be turned into a ping kicker plugin, just by unquoting a line on pluginwatch.py

Max ping can be configured on pingwatch.xml.That will keep people on servers near their location, preventing servers from being too much affected by lag compensation.

 

p.s.: yeah, this post is mostly for dedicated server hosts reading this.

Unless you're willing to go back to Steam and use a program whose name ends in 'Chaos', no.

It puts you as the host of a standard dedicated server with all the tools that come with it (change XP awards, slap/jail/kick/ban/teleport/crash, console, etc).

Downside is that the creator charges for it, and it's not really a legitimate program (only one time have I seen it just be used as a regular server; other times, people are abusing its aimbot).

 

On the plus side, it does tend to reduce the "empty half a mag on target and still die" problems that plague this game.

 

 

This lag, however, is the primary reason why I only play IW4M.

why is it that people bitch about something that is free and the man above me provides it and asks for one thing and thats nothing at all maybe some respect thats about it im my own words its FREE SO STFU { JUST SAYING }

It doesn't seem to be a latency issue so much as a (possibly?) shitty server issue. I know the servers local to me with the most players are in Mexico, which isn't bad itself (only ~100 miles away), but I feel they might not be running the server on the most powerful machine which causes a lot of in game hiccups. If I remember correctly this game does require some beefy specs for a dedi server, MW2 did when I hosted a server way back.
