Okay in a few months I'm gonna get a new GFX card, and I'm not sure what to do. Help me. Please.

Here's a GTX 560, for ВЈ104:

http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/31967812/Palit-GeForce-GTX-560-Smart-Edition-1GB-GDDR5-PCI-Express-2-0-736MHz-3828Mhz-Graphics-Card/Product.html?_$ja=cid:234787|cgid:4891610|tsid:24595|cgn:Struq_tracker|kw:Tracking%20Pixel

But here's a GTX 650, for ВЈ92:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0099AOD5U/ref=asc_df_B0099AOD5U10573879?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&tag=googlecouk06-21&linkCode=asn&creative=22206&creativeASIN=B0099AOD5U

Now even if you don't understand pounds sterling or whatever, 91 is definitely better than 104, but I'm not sure what to do... What should I do? Should I not even get a GTX 560 or GTX 650? Get something else?

Should I save up for this:

I depends on what PSU you have.

As for performance GTX 560 is better GTX 650 even if it is made by Palit.

And the GTX 560 Ti from MSI is even better and it will run cooler so if i were you I would save some more money and get the MSI TWIN FROZR

I got one and it runs all the latest games in max settings on 1900x1080 :)

Even my card can play that shitgame almost maxed out.

I'd recommend 560 Ti, also, AMD fags, go away.

The 560 Ti is better at almost every benchmark.

Nvidia shills go away.

560, after looking at some reviews. You should probably save up for the last one, or try to get it from somewhere cheaper.

Yeah I played it with ultra settings :)

Of course the CPU is bottlenecking your system.

If you're gonna get a 560Ti might as well spend around 20 bucks more on a regular 660. It's on par with the 570, in some cases better.

The only cards from the 6xx series that are worth consider buying are the 670 and 680.

If you can save up a little more for a 560ti or even 7850 (yes Sora, even as an nvidia fanboi I must admit the 7800 series is great value, now fuck off), it's probably better.

7850? I can afford as much a 560, but I cant do more than that. If the 7850 is better, will I need to replace my CWT 405w PSU and/or get cooling? BTW currently have an AMD 6670, and ani5-2320. Also it seems like GTX 560 is what most people tell me. Is AMD or nVidia better?

Last one? The Ti? I'll be getting that or the 7850. I'm stuck between those now! I can get the 560 Ti, but I'll need to wait and save up! Also I'm looking at some cards and some are ASUS, PNY, MSI etc. What's the best?

BTW I'm tired of AMD cards now, I've had 4 now!

I heard people having problems with AMD drivers, but since I only had an nVIDIA card (never had a problem with it, apart from TF2 crashing the drivers randomly) I can't help you with that

Yes, you should replace your PSU for a high quality one, yes having proper airflow is important for hardware that runs hotter than low-end hardware.

BTW currently have an AMD 6670, and ani5-2320. Also it seems like GTX 560 is what most people tell me. Is AMD or nVidia better?

There's no correct answer to this and it's all up to the tasks you're going to do with your PC.

Last one? The Ti?

The Ti version is the only version of the 560 you should buy.

I'll be getting that or the 7850. I'm stuck between those now!

http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/549?vs=547, I'd recommend you the 7850 unless the games you want to play use PhysX.

Stock? No difference but the warranty.

Custom PCB and cooler? A lot.

Does it matter about the drivers if the initial card is pretty powerful? I mean sure the drivers enhance the card but really I would think it's about the card itself. Also 7950 seems pretty good, Should I get that? Some are saying 7800 is priced unfairly, so 7950 seems pretty good... And one other problem I'm having (apart from buying a PSU [OCZ 650w seems alright doesn't it?]) is what about the size? Do I have to buy a new tower case to get something like a 7950/7850 into my computer? I don't SLI or Crossfire or anything like that, just one card.

Опубликовано:

Yes, drivers do matter, ever wondered why you couldn't set your resolution higher than 1024x768 with no driver?

http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/550?vs=549, if you think it's worth it, why not?

No, OCZ makes terrible PSUs.

And one other problem I'm having is what about the size?

The stock 7950 is 27,5cm, get a ruler and look if it will fit from the PCI slots at the back of the case to the HDD bays.

Do I have to buy a new tower case to get something like a 7950/7850 into my computer?

Only if it won't fit in there, could you give your current PC specs?

I don't SLI or Crossfire or anything like that, just one card.

This'll work with a 7950 right:

It is likely that it won't fit, I also recommend you to stay away from those case+PSU combo's, since both the PSU and case are often terrible.

Okay so no PSU case combos. Got it.

Is this worth the money? http://www.ebuyer.com/390639-alpine-700w-blue-psu-12cm-fan-4x-sata-alpine-blue-700w

Also, mid size ATX case would be fine wouldn't it? (http://www.ebuyer.com/278341-casecom-cb-341-black-mesh-mid-tower-case-cb-341-black-)

Btw I haven't said Thank you yet  Thanks a lot, appreciate this a lot!

Ditch those cheap "no brand" PSUs. Make sure to read a proper review, and not a "dis is da best psu evar mang xDDDDDDD i Rcommnd it bcuz it has worked for me fr 2 dayz. xDDDD" review, this is an example of a proper review (and a better PSU), I recommend you to read it and to do your own research:

It should fit, but I won't recommend the case, mainly because of these points:

-It probably has terrible airflow. Terrible airflow = higher temperature = shorter lifespan of the components.

-No cable management. No cable management = airflow obstuction = likely to result in a higher temperature = possible shorter lifespan of the components.

-Top mounted PSU. The PSU takes hot air from the components = shorter lifespan.

-It is likely to be loud as fuck (80mm fan).

-Negative air pessure is the only possibility. With a negative air pressure, there's more air going out than there's going in, which means that it will take air in from small, unfiltered gaps. I probably won't have to tell you the air taken in via the unfiltered gaps contains dust.

No problem.
