Im having some FPS issues in 4D1. Is there any Config that can buff FPS's a bit.

Do this FPS issues also happen on Steams MW2 ?

Actually in original i have about 150 and in 4D1 about 40

I created my own config. Try searching on the forums I had 2 versions of it.

why don't you use the config from your other version which runs @ 150 fps?

Heres my config give a try i made it my self using all the FPS tweaking commands that i learned from COD 4 that work on 4D1 MW2

 

also if you want to gain more FPS then rename mile folder to dismiles you can grab up 3 - 5 FPS on a really bad PC but on good PC's it will turn the music off for you and that's about it

tell me if this config helps anyone in this forum comment below this post and tell me your FPS and specs so i can see what kinda PC's benefit from this config

This is your answer, OP.

 

Since there are no graphical changes between MW2 and 4D1, your MW2 config should improve your FPS in 4D1.

Here I have edited A TON OF settings hope you like it. It's on 1280x960 so if you're comp can run that just right click on it and edit to whatever res your computer can run.

what have you changed?

also turning FX marks off is pointless and is not a major change and turning fast skin on i lost 5 - 15 FPS off my avg FPS

Edit Also preloadshaders gains you 5 - 10 FPS and allows everything to be loaded in to memory and turning off multi GPU lose's you 5 - 15 FPS go read up on your stuff alittle more man because so far these tweaks make the config worse.

 

Another Edit Also snaps @ default 20 makes your hit reg not as good as 30

I tried this config and my fps droped me to 92 and my hit regs went to shit.

did you try my config? if so what FPS did you get?

When i used your config HD i changed my max FPS to 125 from the 250 because i cant get past 125 on my avg FPS so i changed it to 125 so i get a more constant FPS also thanks for the config man and diduknowipwn you should really take his advise and look up the stuff that your changing because it really makes a diffrence
