hello im about to start on a project. this project is about makeing a so called private server "private game" like IW5M. the game im going to make a private server is combat arms, but i need help, so why not come 2 this forum?, but ye, i dont realy know where 2 start, the game have the files i prob. need in the folider. but i need help, plz post back

like i said, im not sure of what you would need to know....but i have a feeling it will be very hard...because i dont think there is another combat arms private server, which means you would have to pretty much make up a server from scratch(dont quote me on that)

hmm, let me c, it was a server, think it was online for like a day or so, but but, his name is jordan lyne. think he made it from scratch, but not everything and his mad all the time, so wont help me at all

Then ask him for the files, it will get a lot easier to understand what you need to know etc.

Learn reverse engineering (make chets if you're a nab like me) and then do some detailed net/protocol research. Once you're at that point, you won't need to ask what to do.

 

More to the point, why in the everliving fuck would you make a CA private server.

Atleast they can keep the server up/make it. As you obviously can't code, I wouldn't even start if I was you. Good luck on your little project though.
