Right treatment for staff impersonators?

Опубликовано:

I just wanted to know, what they should expect.

I've met some, told them they should change their name over the next hour, told them if they don't do that they get banned, and gave them both a board warning.

Was it right what I've done, or is something else better?

Warning + name change would do it.

Weren't you banned on aIW for staff impersionation ? Not like warns would do anything, as they actually don't do anything, but if you give him a day ban then he might think for a second.

changing their nick will make their login impossible with that nick of course, so you're only just pissing them off by having to find their nick, it's not like people even care when staff join their games.. and these type of people go "OMG GIVE ME ADMIN OR I BAN YOU" and generally try to boast, which is what the staff doesn't do, so imo just leave them to be faggots, and ban them from your servers..

they'd just make a new account, manual banning is pointless
