when i try to join a server with the map "gulag" my iw4m automatically gives me an error message. unfortunately i can't see the dialog because mw2 is in fullscreen and alt+tab'ing doesn't work.

 

any solutions?

Use alt+enter to go into windowed mode, then tell us the error.

/r_fullscreen 0

/r_noborder 0 go nuts

that command doesn't work unfortunately. the value stays at 1.

 

i changed the resolution to 800x600, but still fullscreen.

Find the iw4m.exe, make a shortcut. at the end of the shortcut add: +set r_fullscreen 0 +set r_noborder 0

you need a vid_restart somewhere in there.

Gulag doesn't work for me too... Only that it gives me the error. "Sp_worldspawn:the first entry isn't worldspawn". Anyways, some people are trying to help me in another thread. Jus saying cause the title asked 'anyone else?' and best of luck dealing with it.

I cant load any map that is modifyed like: gulag. Oilrig etc.

why cant i play them??

Do you have the maps in the zone/english folder
