Hey guys, so every time I play IW4M I experience a pretty good amount of lag. And most of you will think it's my internet, but it says I have 67-70 ping at all times and my frame rate is at constant 250. I can't find out why this is happening. It only happens on this game and I tried to look at the FAQ's, but they didn't have a solution. Do any of you guys any an idea as to why this might be happening?

also note that people have said this before many times, yet other people say it runs 'better' on some servers, or on less loaded servers; this is more an issue of perception than anything factual

Have you tried different servers?

 

There're definetly some servers which are laggy even when you have a ping around 50.

It looks like some 'micro lag', which causes quick stuttering from time to time.

I guess it happens on servers with weak/shared cpus (vservers mostly).
