That is the truth, Connor also kills his own father at somepoint near the end of the story

AC1 was boring as fuck

AC2 was good

rest is meh, it became as boring as AC1

How shocking. I believe most of the characters in the past setting of AC1 and AC2 died as well... If not by murder, WITH AGE.

The first one was enjoyable, I didn't want to play anything after the first one because I felt like they would kill the series and I feel as if I made the right decision. I may play AC2 and AC3 in time, but I won't ever play the 'inbetweeners' like brother hood and such

That's wrong thinking, he has eagle vision, which makes him not just an ordinary assassin, like many other recruits, but THE assassin by his bloodline, descendant of the first civ. Also, his father somehow turned to Templars, but he was an assassin by his bloodline too.

 

What I always wondered is, are Templars really the bad guys in here? You see assassins turning to Templars through the series, and when you kill the Templars, they always talk about how they all wanted good for this world, and they seem to really believe it. All assassins do is just kill the Templars and some other people to make things better for themselves and a narrow circle of people that mean something to them.
