With BF3, I get 90 fps with "High" settings but with MW3, I get 50-60 fps with "Extra" settings and shadows.

 

My GPU is a MSI GeForce 560 Ti Hawk Series.

 

I tested with the latest GeForce Beta driver and with the recommended on but theres no change.

To a normal human 60fps and 90fps can't be distiinguished. (can't be, can be? Whatever.) And why would you want 90fps? Are you going to donate 30fps to the Fps research fund?

lag spikes = internet connection

fps spikes = hardware

 

And to answer to your question, MW3 its a console port, so: no optimization on PC. Unlike BO2 that I run above 100fps on max settings.

Well you maybe can't distinguish 60-90, but anything above 60 is a lot more responsive enjoyable experience.

I get a solid 100-110 in BF3 and around 200-300 in MW3 ._.

My laptop doesn't run BF3 and does run IW5.

Apparently it's just your rig.
