[Spoilers] Mass Effect 3 - even more questions!

So yeah, Mass Effect 3 recently got released.

I was wondering what you guys think of the game if you've played it.

Personally:

The game was awesome.

The ending, however, disappointed me greatly.

Knowing Mass Effect, you'd expect to get a lot of different ways to end the story, yet they all come down to the same thing (same cutscenes, same effect)

Also I like how the ending of Mass Effect is not very clear on the other hand.

So you rush towards the beam in the end to get up to the Citadel and finish the Crucible to get rid of the Reapers, but the Reaper defending the beam hits you with his "IMMAFIRINMAHLAZOR"-beam. From this point you see yourself getting back up on your feet and walking towards the end of the game. Now nobody is certain what really happens here. Is this part really happening? Or is this the effect of the "Reaper Indoctrination"? Finally you come face to face with the child you've been seeing briefly throughout the game, however, you never seen anyone actually talk or pay attention to that child every time you saw him. In the beginning of the game when the child was hiding in the ventilation shaft, only you paid attention to him, Anderson doesn't seem to notice anything. And when the child was climbing aboard the shuttle that got shot down by a Reaper, nobody seemed to notice him climbing aboard, but you saw it. So this child, is he even real? Or is that already part of the "Reaper Indoctrination" that was built up ever since you got in touch with the Reapers in part 1 of Mass Effect?

To keep a long story short. After I finished Mass Effect 3, I expected to have answers to all my questions, but instead many more questions popped up.

I also have the feeling there is something more coming up, maybe some large DLC, maybe a Mass Effect 4...

Reasons for this:

- In the final cinematic you see a N7 armor laying in collapsed buildings, which shows someone is still alive inside that suit just before the image fades...

- In the credits-cinematic you hear the boy ask the older guy about "Another story of the Shepard" which is answered with "It's getting late, but alright, one more story". Could this be a reference to something extra we will get eventually?

After seeing all this it just made me wanna play all parts of Mass Effect again!!

The last part of ME3 isnt very clear. The fact that the qurian fleet take out a sovereign-class reaper on their homeland but on Earth they just have their asses whipped and thrown into dust. On earth, everything changes, On palaven and the krogan homeland, we destroy a fuckton of reaper spawns, husks and even ACTUAL reapers. On earth however, most forces just get beaten to dust.

On to what you were saying, When harbinger hit the squad rushing to the beam, EVERYONE DIED. yet, they say anderson followed you back to the citadel. Shepard isnt shocked to see the keepers OR the dead dudes nor is anderson. The citadel seems very....weak. According to the squad on earth "reapers use these beams to transport dead AND ALIVE humans to the citadel" if that was the case, i doubt they would just have an unlocked door which leads to a what appears to be a very simple control with which you can reach the "master of reapers" and then just blow the shit out of the reapers. I mean, you got to have SOME defense nearby something this powerful. Also, if the reapers control the illusive man and Cerberus, dafuq is cerberus doing by attacking the prothean VI? i mean, the reapers could just step in and blow the shit put of the archives and the prothean VI and no one would notice. Also, the 'doctor EVA' girl, what was she doing just tryinng to 'steal' the data? the reapers could have just destroyed all evidence of the protheans.

The end is shit, but there is one thing to note, If the illusive man was ACTUALLY indoctrinated, he would have just shot you rather than killing himself. The Normandy R-2 entered the mass relay BEFORE the blast from the crucible could hit. That means it HAS to be farther out than earth to actually enter the MASS RELAY before the shot from the crucible.

During the star gazers story, the grandpa or whoever he is mentions 'another story' well, thats our beacon of hope
