I didn't even have to look at it to know it is fake. Valve NEVER made a "3rd" of any game... Half life 2... Episode 2...Team fortress 2...Left 4 Dead 2....Portal 2....

FPS is mostly caused by your video settings. Here are some things to check/try: - Make sure you have the latest update for your video drivers - Goof around with your video settings ingame to stabilize your FPS - Turn off any programs you do not use I'm running on: Intel i7 920 Quad Core 6GB RAM 2x NVIDIA GeForce 260 GTX (SLI) And I still need to lower my video settings a lot to make BF3 playable.

It's pretty simple. Activision will not sue anyone unless it is really worth it (ex. they are losing a shitload of money) If you even have the slightest idea of how much money it'll cost Activision to sue NTAuthority for this, you'll realise there's nothing to be scared of the way IW4M will be. If Activision sues NTAuthority for it they most likely end up losing money due to the cost of lawyers and shit. You can pretty much compare it with the thousands of World of Warcraft private servers out there...they are ALL illegally hosted and provided, but you don't see Blizzard sue every private server hoster because it is not worth it for them money-wise.

I doubt that. Why would NTAuthority create a whole new community, alter the MW2 client to work with legal copies of MW2 etc just to fool us?

I've been testing x as well. I'm pretty much playing there until NTAuthority finishes up IW4M. They have also claimed that the whole C&D letter was a lie from AlterIWnet and that Activision never approached them at all. They seem to think they're safe from everything because "they dont give a shit about Activision". I dont think it'll ever be a reasonable alternative, but for now I enjoy playing there with my friends. I don't see, in any case, a good future for x to be honest.
