Every other match I keep getting an error. It comes up with this "Fatal error (0xc0000005) at 0x63c0c694. A minidump has been written to iw4m-3.0-104-20120708132340.dmp." I've got the current version of the mod and 4D1.

It doesn't reskin it like the Specialist mod. Also, can't you just make a folder in the mod folder and pllace the .iwd there? You didn't have to with the specialist mod so I'm wondering if this one uses he same system.

Hey nice job btw! I have two questions though. 1: To install it do I just drag it into the m2demo folder like the specialist mod? 2: Does it reskin the game to look and sound like MW3?

That will not happen for multiple reasons: 1) These mods affect core gsc files in unique ways. The damage.gsc and rank.gsc files are affected differently in the Assault and Specialist mods respectively. 2) I like the idea of each mod standardizing a pointstreak. My one gripe with MW3 is that you have hardcore lone-wolves competing for specialist perks who lose their bonuses in the blink of an eye to an Assassin camping noob with a Type 95 trying to get an AC-130 who then gets plowed by one of the 50,000,000 support Stealth Bombers called in during the match. Having all 3 different systems running at once just adds to the imbalance, so I think the way to help that is to create a system by which people running dedicated servers on 4D1 have 3 choices as to what pointstreak type they want to use each game and what pointstreak EVERY player will involuntarily agree upon. That is true.

Yes yes yes! Will there ever be a way to have the ability to choose which strike package for each class? Just like MW3? That would complete this. ._. Problem? MW2 is better, the maps are better, teh guns are better. I just was saying that it would be cool to have class specific Killstreaks to use against bots. I don't mean "Make this mod turn the game into MW3"

There are not any bugs as we know? It might just be a bug with bots mods. i've tried regular RSE Gun Game RSE and the RSEspecialist mods and they all, somewhere in the match, make the game crash with a wierd error. it's not my game, the creators of the mods have said it's happening to them aswell. so then its the mods causing the issue?...and not IW4M... It's most likely something to do with the coding for the bots. In a way, it is IW4M because since the update they haven't worked.

Does anybody know where to download and play alteriwnet offline alone? I want to try out the new version of the RSE Specialist killstreaks mod, but in 4D1 at the moment, halfway through the match it crashes. Any help will be thanked

The mod makes the game crash on load sometimes. Just keep relaunching it. The current version of 4D1 has some kind of private match bug with this mod and RSE. We just have to wait for a new update

Is there any date for the new update to fix the private match bugs? I'm not being pushy I would just like to know a rough date.

Nope, that bug has apparently been patched, so have a blast! Hardline has been working properly since V6.3 so to answer your question, Hardline is most DEFINITELY working. False, I still have the bug. Have you got the latest version of the mod? Try redownloading it.

You can configure the mod to your liking, afaik. Oh yeah I forgot about that
