m40a3 is a sniper and i played with it on oilrig (took it up with f ) and i saw someone on (verwuchert-german name) overgrown

I played on oilrig and on overgrown and there were The m40a3

yeah thats was in Prodiigy server promod , they got m40a3 in oilrig ..

its work in Oilrig servers but we dont know how .

but the admins are knowing how and we want a answer from them^^

I am sure u can just add the m40a3 to the players loadout via gsc script files.

Dont know if u can actually check which map is played and give the weapon accordingly to that, though.

 

Just inform your self and ask for help in the mods sub-forum if needed.

For your situation, lmaobox already said it's a server-side mod. Meaning, the server you were in was modded to have the M40 available. Pretty straight-forward.

 

Otherwise, as far as my understanding goes, you can only get it on Oilrig (and probably other maps on DLC) using the M40A3 gametype.

 

They probably won't fully implement custom weapons into the game until the full official release is out (auto-update, most glitches fixed, etc.)

we were in promod server , map was oilrig , but in the select weapon in promod .. m40 not showin

and some players got the weapon , how i dont know :|

Maybe it's possible that only certain people are given permission to use the gun, like admins of the server.

 

Never played on the server, so that could be completely outruled; depending on how many people had the gun.
