Hi to all killers!

All my servers have always been public...but now im making a private 1...my problem comes when i try to connect to it locally...

i always connect with connect internal ip:port... but with pass? it always says invalid password to me ...ive tried connecting like...192.168.1.14:27025 "password", but no result..

does any1 know the how?

Go into your IW5M/admin/ folder open your server.cfg and make sure your entering the password which has been written here,

seta g_password "this should be the password"

You can connect to password protected server(s) with using this console command:

connect IP:PORT; password SERVERPASSWORD

 

Example:

connect 192.168.5.102:28975; password xxxxx
