Hi

Are 4D1 servers able to ban cheaters whom use alterrev crack?

1) As of the latest revision, legacy clients are unable to join fourDeltaOne servers. (the serverlist will still display legacy servers; however, I would advise you do not join those servers as they have no current anti-cheat.)

2) If the server themselves wish to ban servers of people who are using the legacy client/'s, they can do so with plugins like B3, or RCON, but unfortunately they can spoof their GUID's. (And IP banning can be considered ineffective; proxies and dynamic IP's exist.)

In conclusion, I would strongly recommend you to update to the latest IW4M server version using dsut.zip (or is this the IW4M one? Download Links says first one, Dedicated Server tutorial says other wise) to prevent legacy clients from joining your server and as such avoiding our anti-cheat protection (aCI), and also from joining your servers without any anti-cheat present on their client.
