Does Anyone Here Use Xpadder For Gaming M.W.2.?

Опубликовано:

Good Afternoon all :)

I was hoping some of you guys could help resolve a couple of question of mines regarding this Xpadder software.

I am trying to develop a gaming profile for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Multi-Player, thing is I can't seem to figure out how to map double keyboard keys to one button???

Like the Reload & Use (R/F) keys to to one button, or Crouch & Prone (C/Ctrl), when I try to assign double keys to one button they don't behave properly

EXAMPLE

THE ARROW IN PIC POINTS TO MY PROBLEM<----

That button as well as the R button are buttons I am trying to assign multiple keys for.

I am trying to organize the buttons so if I were to have the Reload & Use keys on one button it would behave where as I would press the same button to Reload then Hold the same button too Use, same as the Crouch an Prone feature, a light press to Crouch an hold for Prone.

I have read a few articles an watched a few vids, but none really specify how to properly assign a double keyboard command to one button, I have tried to join the Xpadder forum so I could ask this question there but for some reason I was not able to register with there forum?

I actually have a software that emulates keyboard stokes for game pads properly (Pinnacle Game Profiler), but I am really trying to figure this software out so I could test it.

There is an option for assigning two keys for one button - when you want to assign a key to a button, just go to 'advanced' and in the top side of the window, just select the two buttons you need - there should be an option, for hold, too, but never used it, so I don't know how to use it.

I've used Xpadder before (like only one time). Never again. Stick to mouse/keyboard, get use to the feel and enjoy. Otherwise, play on console. Not saying that because you're using a controller, but because it will be extremely painful for you to play with a controller and no aim assist.

Your bullets will literally fly everywhere and people will be wondering why the hell Rambo is playing MW2.

No rumble.

No aim-assist.

No reason to use a controller.

Now if MW2 had support for rumble and at LEAST aim assist, I'd say it's worth trying to figure out. But it's not worth trying to figure out. Save yourself a ton of grief and play keyboard/mouse.

That was pretty funny!!

Guess I should have pointed out in this thread that I am not a mouse an keyboard gamer, never have been.

I just don't have the work station for playing with a mouse a keyboard.

I am not making a issue on what's better at gaming FPS games, I am trying to find out how to correct my mapping functions for this software.

Ii can help u with "crouch" and "prone"

first, assign "C" to the button that u want to use for Crouch and prone.

then, run mw2, go to options >>> controls >> Movement : Bound "C" for "Change Stance".

"Change Stance" means that when u press "C" u go "Crouch, and when u Hold "C" u go Prone.

Sorry cant help u with "Reload" and "Use", but I have a suggestion for that,

Put "F" instead of "N" in the Xpadder, u dont need Night Vision.

I knew it from the start, and I have tried the same. But like most people here is telling you, playing with a joystick will only prove ankward, difficult and frustrating. I was a gamepad player all my life, so I tried sticking to it, but it puts you at a disadvantage against keyboard users, who will be able to aim fast and shoot u down whyle you're trying to point at them with your analog.

Make the effort, you'll get used in a short time. ;)

This. Also, when I tried it with a PS3/X360 controller XPadder had some input lag, which really makes it impossible to win.

I used to try and use XPadder on aIW, but couldn't. And damn I'm glad.

Once you get used to using keyboard and mouse, you'll never touch another shity console in your life.
