cant open the game just get errors

now i get "Direct X has encountered an Unrecoverable error"

and

For the error, Direct X Failed to initialize Properly , You're running another 3D application check task manager to see if you have either another 3D application is open or iw4m.exe open *check when iw4m is not running* if another 3D app/iw4m.dat is running END the process. Now try running the game again.

For the error, Direct X has encountered an Unrecoverable error , Try updating Direct X from HERE, and if that doesnt work then HERE.
