Guys Idk if you have noticed or no, but there is one little thing I have noticed!

Ok so after installing a Win 8 on my pc all of my programs started working a bit faster and better and a big plus is that now I get a higher FPS in the games

For example before I had about 90 Fps on The IW4 and IW5 now I get like 150-300 I was like WOW!

Is that for everyone with win 8? did you guys fill any boost in the games like FPS increase?

You should not get that much of a performance boost by just upgrading to Windows 8.

Maybe your settings are different now? Newer GPU drivers maybe?

Windows 8 works very well for games, I upgraded to Windows 8 about 2 weeks (or more) ago and I was like "wow, much better performance", like you are. Yesterday night I downgraded back to windows 7 as I has many issues with Windows 8 and found I would get about 30+ more fps in Windows 8.

That OS seems a lot more optimized.

OP were you in vista because that OS is rely heavy if not just magic or something.

Its just that the ATI GPU drivers for Windows 8 seem to be better than drivers for Windows 7.

I noticed around a 10FPS gain..

Well, the system is a bit lighter on the machine, also, some driver updates were probably installed.

Well yeah I upgraded my drivers it gave even better boost, but my point is that win 8 does give a little performance as I know yeah it doesnt take as much ram and CPU usage as the old win 7 )))

Well i get ping super high too.But in my opinion win 8 sucks .(no offence)
