Correct, perhaps instead of disabling it, i could change the output of every message?

That's exactly what we're all doing. It's just that we're trying to find a temporary work-around for the present bug. There is a temporary fix, however, it isn't sanctioned by 4D1 staff.

 

I've been told that a chat filter (b3 plugin) will not work because the chat is printed to the games log file first, then b3 retrieves it from there...or blocks it. So once it's printed, its too late.
