Hy, I was wanting to change a couple of settings and it looks like the only way to do so is to edit the source files and recompile. I didn't post in the [RELEASE] topic because I knew the post would have to wait for approval. Some settings I'd like to change are:

scr_sd_winlimit 4, g_hardcore 0, scr_spectatetype 1.

 

I've attempted to change them via the server.cfg but I guess since the script loads after the config, it doesn't matter what I put in the config file...or am I wrong? Either way, I couldn't figure out how to change these settings without a recompile.

 

If I have to recompile it, I can, but I need a little help. I've recompiled scripts but only 1 .cs file at a time. In other words, there are 5 .cs files that come with the source and so I'm not sure as to how to compile the plugin again after my changes because of lack of experience. Do I simply load all 5 .cd files into Visual Studio and then compile? Is it that easy?

 

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks bud, I opened all five .cs files, then recompiled. Worked perfectly. Had never done more than one cs file at a time and all I know about C# is what DUKIP posted in the video tut. ;)

 

What would I add in the code to make it auto assign only? And no team switching? kinda kills the game with those enabled.

 

And where would I add it?
